Hello, my name is Bill Kendall, and I am working on my first novel: LILITH'S CHILD: THE EPIC ADVENTURES OF GILGAMESH: THE CURSE OF RAVENWOOD. Long title I know. Publishers will shorten it. It is to let everyone know that I plan to write a series of books on Gilgamesh, the main protaganist and Lilith, his vindictive mother as well as the main antagonist; and their continuing conflict to reconcile their tumultuous past relationship: between a vengful mother and wayward son. I am setting the first book: THE CURSE OF RAVENWOOD in Natchez, MS during the "Killer Tornado of 1840" as Carolyn Ravenknight gives birth to Anna Beth at the old mansion on the hill, Ravenwood. Farro Ravenknight has been searching for Anna Beth Ravenknight/Inanna, his lost soul light, through out history as she reincarnates many times . He is drawn to Natchez, Mississippi at the time of her birth.

If you are familiar with the EPIC OF GILGAMESH from ancient Sumerian texts or other mid-eastern sources then you know where I am drawing my source material from. However, Lilith is a new twist. I discovered this egnamatic character in a painting by Charles Dante Gabriel Rossetti, the founder of the Brotherhood of the Pre-Raphaelites in 1848. I did exstensive research on her, and discovered that she was the: "First" wife of the Adam. She refused to be subservient to him and abandoned him. This can be found in the Jewish esoterical teachings of the Qabalah or Kabbalah or Cabala...take your pick.

I would love to hear from anyone out there who might have connections or information on esoterical knowledge of Natchez, Mississippi or historical knowledge of Natchez that they would like to share with me. I am extremly interested in Dr. Hailer Nutt and Longwood. I visited there once, and was mesmerized by Longwood. I felt his soulful spirit which longed to see the mansion completed. I was on a super vacation with my late wife, Joan Leslie Kendall, who passed in 1999 and my three children. Joan was a true Romantic, in the 1800's sense of the word, and she imbued me with a love for the past.

Also if anyone knows about the great New Madrid earthquake of 1811-1812 that caused the Mighty Mississippi River to flow backwards for a few minutes I would love to hear from you. I am using this earth shattering event as the opening prelude in my series of novels to show how powerful Lilith really is. I believe that from one eyewitness account of,Captain Beau regard, who was pioliting a riverboat on its maiden voyage up the river; saw and described what seemed to be either a comet or asteriod in the sky prior to the earthquake. If this is true then the quake was probably triggered by the impact of the comet or asteriod. If you have any information and you would like to share it with me please do so. I will give you ample credit in my book.
